University Admissions Support
Preparing students for what comes next: Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science and STEM applications, guided by a current Director of Sixth Form.
Competitive Courses I Support
Each route has its own deadlines, tests and interview style. The plan is built around the course.
Oxbridge
Course and college choice, admissions tests, written work and tutorial-style interview practice.
Medicine
UCAT strategy, personal statements, work-experience reflection and MMI and panel interview preparation.
Dentistry
Application planning, UCAT preparation and interview practice alongside A-Level Chemistry support.
Veterinary Science
Building a strong application, evidencing experience and preparing for interviews.
STEM
Engineering, Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Natural Sciences: ESAT, MAT and problem-solving interviews.
What the Support Covers
Personal statements
From first ideas to final draft: structure, evidence and a genuine voice.
Interview preparation
Mock interviews that push back, with clear feedback on thinking aloud.
UCAT
A steady plan for each section, built around school work rather than in place of it.
ESAT
Maths and science problem-solving at pace for engineering and science courses.
MAT
Longer, less familiar maths problems and how to stay calm inside them.
Course and university choice
Realistic, ambitious shortlists informed by predicted grades and interests.
When to Start
Ideally in Year 12. Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science have an early UCAS deadline, and admissions tests reward steady preparation over the summer.
Always check UCAS and the official test websites for the current year’s dates.
- Spring, Year 12: explore courses, read around the subject
- Summer, Year 12: admissions test preparation, first statement draft
- Autumn, Year 13: submit, then interview practice
- Spring, Year 13: secure the grades the offer depends on
